Internal or Single Tooth Whitening

Internal bleaching is only an option for tooth whitening if you have had the nerve removed from you tooth. In order to bleach your tooth from the inside, Dr. Joseph Sarkosh will insert the bleaching agent inside the tooth. The bleach is then left inside your tooth for a period of time (generally a week or so) before being removed. Internal bleaching is not always effective first time so the process may have to be repeated.

If you have had a root canal on a tooth that looks somewhat discolored, internal bleaching is a great procedure to unify the colors of your teeth.
