Covid-19 and Safety Protocols
To ensure your safety, the safety of our staff and other patients we require the highest standard of safety and follow all CDC guidelines
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). In addition to the changes listed above you may see some other changes to your dental office improving safety during this pandemic:
- Your dental staff members are equipped with the proper PPE and have undergone extensive training to create a safe environment for all.
- Appointments will be scheduled to allow for social distancing so we ask for your patience while waiting to come inside the office so we limit the number of people in our waiting area.
- Plexiglass dividers are placed at our front office area for safe communication with staff.
- Hand sanitizers are readily available.
- Pens are disinfected with UV and disinfectant solutions.
As of April 3, 2023, face masks are optional for patients, visitors and workers not performing clinical procedures in dental offices and other health care settings in California per new guidance from the state Department of Public Health. The guidance follows Gov. Newsom's termination on Feb. 28 of California's pandemic State of Emergency. Dental offices are now "mask optional" for patients.
Rest assured that as always you can continue to trust your dental team to keep your office as a safe place for your dental care needs. Our office always uses the highest standards of infection control to protect our patients and staff from spread of germs even before this outbreak started. We will continue to provide a safe and comfortable space for the best in your dental care needs. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice.
